World’s best airport hotels: Singapore’s Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, Hilton Amsterdam make top 10 list

London-based air transport ratings organization Skytrax recently revealed which airport hotels have been voted the world’s best in the largest annual global airport customer satisfaction survey across 550 airports.

Factors assessed include:

+ overall experience at the hotel

+ access to/from the airport to the hotel

+ professional reception service

+ friendliness of staff

+ cleanliness of bedroom and bathroom

+ if the bedroom has enabled a “good night’s sleep”

+ in-room amenities

+ leisure, fitness and spa facilities

+ quality of food and restaurant staff service

+ value for money

  1. Crowne Plaza Changi Airport in Singapore (voted number one for the ninth time)
  2. Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Airport in China
  3. TWA Hotel New York JFK in the United States of America
  4. Hilton Munich Airport in Germany
  5. Fairmont Vancouver Airport in Canada
  6. Grand Hyatt at SFO in the USA
  7. Movenpick Hotel in Bahrain
  8. Hilton Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in The Netherlands
  9. Pullman Guangzhou Baiyun Airport in China
  10. Sofitel London Heathrow in the United Kingdom
