BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – A 75-year-old Butler County woman has pleaded guilty to bank robbery.

Ann Mayers, 75, pleaded guilty to robbing the AurGroup Credit Union in Fairfield Township in April.

On April 19, 2024, Fairfield Township police responded to a report of a woman robbing a bank with a firearm. She was arrested, and police say she quickly confessed to the crime.

Body camera footage of the arrest captured Mayers saying, “I did what you came here to do.”

Court documents show Mayers was charged with one count of aggravated robbery and a one-year firearm confiscation order.

The verdict in Mayers’ case will be announced on October 15 at 1:00 p.m.
