Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson appeared on 60 Minutes last night after a wave of criticism for her “holistic” approach to breast cancer treatment, after doctors advised her to reject conventional treatments, including chemotherapy.

And when asked if her method “cured” her cancer, Macpherson did not provide a clear answer regarding that specific terminology.

“The word cure is very interesting,” she said on the program.

“No, I am a breast cancer survivor. I had a very strong team that helped me do that.

“So now, you know, I’m in clinical remission, those are the words most doctors would say.”

Her treatment methods included natural medicines administered through “intravenous drips, dental care, osteopaths, chiropractors, and many spiritual activities.”
