Are you going to One Night Stand? Here’s everything you need to know

One Night Stand is just around the corner and we are excited to see you there! Before you go to Park of Friendly SocietiesCheck out the most important information about the event location, times, amenities and more below.

Tickets

One Night Stand 2024 is officially sold out! There will be no tickets available at the door and non-attendees will not be admitted. Please arrive early to avoid congestion.

If you have purchased a ticket, you will only find it in your emails as a PDF attachment.

Set times and sitemap

One Night Stand will be held at Friendly Societies Park, Warrnambool. Stay tuned! Show times and site map coming soon.

What to take

  • Valid photo ID
  • Your valid event tickets, printed or presented on a fully charged mobile phone
  • Your bank card in physical or paywave form
  • Weather protection, e.g. hat and/or cape, sun protection
  • Empty, reusable plastic water bottle for use at our free water stations (no glass)

Transportation and arrival

Arrival with a child under 5 years old

Please use the under 5s entry lane (rightmost lane). Children with valid under 5s tickets will be given a coloured wristband and their guardians will be instructed to write their best contact number in permanent marker (we will have plenty!) on the wristband in case your child becomes separated during the event. Our friendly security staff will find you easily!

Shuttle buses

Shuttle buses are free with an event ticket. Show your printed or mobile ticket to travel free of charge to and from the event on One Night Stand’s Warrnambool Buses.

Buses will stop at the following stops and run from 12:00 to 23:30 on Saturday 14 September.

Group buses
Have you organised your own group travel to the event? That’s great! Send us an email at [email protected] letting us know which large vehicles will be dropped off, and we may be able to offer you a convenient location for them to stay.

Train
Warrnambool Train Station is a 22-minute walk from the venue.

V/Line has added several additional services to support the event:
Saturday 14 September – departs Southern Cross at 9:20am and arrives Warrnambool at 1:15pm
Sunday 15th September – Departs Warrnambool 9:10am and arrives Southern Cross 12:50pm

Please note that passengers must book a seat in advance to travel on V/Line services to Warrnambool. Bookings can be made online on the V/Line website and mobile app, by calling 1800 800 077, or in person at a V/Line staffed station, V/Line ticket agent or Metro Premium Station.

A small number of seats will be allocated as unreserved and some standing room will be available, however passengers who do not reserve seats risk being unable to travel if there is no space, or having to stand for more than three hours of the journey.

Please note that the last V/Line service on Saturday will be at 5:40 PM. There will be no V/Line services after the event.

Pick-up and delivery
Hyland St will be closed for the duration of the event. There will be two (2) pick-up and drop-off areas on Koroit St.

Parking

Friendly Societies Park is conveniently located a short walk from the Warrnambool CBD.

We recommend walking or taking the shuttle bus on the day of the event if possible. The venue will also provide bicycle parking, which will be monitored by event security.

If you are traveling by car, here are some recommended parking locations:

  • Ozone Car Park – 1.2 km walk
  • Parkers Car Park – 1.3 km walk
  • Warrnambool Railway Station Car Park – 1.4km walk
  • Coles-Younger Car Park – 1.4 km walk
  • Flagstaff Hill Car Park – 2 km walk
  • Lake Pertobe Road District – Park and Ride at the Bus Loop
  • Warrnambool Showgrounds – Entry fee $5

When leaving the event, please pay attention to your neighbours.

Availability

AUSLAN
An AUSLAN interpreter will be present on stage throughout the performance.

Venue and transportation
The Friendly Societies event venue is mostly green with a few footpaths throughout the venue. There will be 35 parking spaces available across the road at Warrnambool Showgrounds on Koroit St; parking will be free for those with an available parking permit.

Entrance available
If you have any accessibility requirements, please use the disabled lane and notify the gate staff if you require assistance moving around the facility.

Viewing available
There is an accessible viewing platform in the middle of the pitch. Our friendly Accessibility Hosts will be there to answer any questions and ensure an enjoyable experience for all.

Bathrooms
Accessible toilets are located behind the accessible viewing terrace and at the southern end of the facility.

Lighting
Please note that strobe lights will be used occasionally during the show.

Low sensory space
Next to the Clubhouse is a dedicated low-sensory space that will cater to those with sensory needs. The low-sensory space will be an enclosed area with seating and a few crafts.

Parents’ tent
The parents’ tent is located next to the clubhouse and will be equipped with a changing room, seating and a microwave to make it easier for parents and guardians to look after their children during the event.

Prohibited items

Because it is no cloakroom at the event, please review the list of prohibited items below.

THE ORGANIZERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY TO PERSONS IN POSSESSION OF ANY OF THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW

The following restricted or prohibited items may not be brought to the event:

  • Illegal drugs
  • Bring your own alcohol
  • Glass
  • Anything that could reasonably be considered a weapon, including potential projectiles or spiked belts
  • Professional photography or video equipment. All with a detachable lens.
    Animals (except registered guide dogs)
  • Flares, fireworks or sparklers
  • Lasers or laser pointers
  • Professional recording or broadcasting equipment without the promoter’s consent
  • Flags with poles, large flags or banners that may block the view of other customers
  • Any item that you intend (or such quantity of an item from which management may reasonably infer that you intend) to distribute, offer for sale or display for marketing or promotional purposes
  • Any other items deemed by security or management to have the potential to cause injury or disruption to public order
  • No spray deodorants or perfumes may be used within the event area.
  • Closed beverage containers.

  • Skateboards
  • Backpacks
  • Bags larger than A4
  • Eskies
  • Umbrellas
  • Lightsticks
  • Selfie stick
  • Large flashlights or torches
  • Food products in commercial quantities; with a broken or damaged manufacturer’s seal, fruit or self-prepared food. Security reserves the right not to allow food products into the event

Other:

Pets are not allowed, except guide dogs and other registered assistance dogs.

Customers may not stand on garbage cans or fences.

Any injuries caused or suffered as a result of this incident are the customer’s responsibility.

Illegal items will be confiscated and criminal charges may be filed.

Only empty, reusable bottles may be brought to the event.
