Bluey: Rug Island – 16 Brand New Tracks From Joff Bush & The Bluey Music Team

Bluey: Carpet Island will be released on streaming services, on CD, beautiful orange sunset vinyl, and as a limited edition vinyl picture disc.

Debut single “Octopus”, featuring surf rock band Yolŋu King Stingray, will be released next Friday (August 2).

BlueProduced by the Emmy® Award-winning Ludo Studio, it is a rare television series that is beloved by viewers of all ages around the world. The series’ debut album made history as the first children’s album to reach number one on the Australian Aria charts. Together, Bluey: The Album AND Bluey: Dance mode!have reached over half a billion combined streams and both debuted at number one on Billboard magazine’s Children’s Albums chart in the U.S.

Bluey: Carpet IslandRecorded in Brisbane, Australia, it’s a fun journey through the imagination of sisters Bluey and Bingo. The album features songs from all three series and draws inspiration from the episode “Rug Island” – a place where children play and adults discover their inner child.

Joff Bush says: “The album contains little versions of Rug Island, which are like little journeys into the world of children’s imagination, their games and the things they play with.”

The album also features other notable tracks such as “Onesies” and a new vocal version of “Bluey’s theme tune (vocal version).” Standout tracks include the 80s-inspired synth rock “Fairy tale“traditional sailor shanty style”Explorers“, a captivating rock song”Muffin Drive“and a simple, sweet song”Turtle Boy.”

The collection will be available to stream and download worldwide from October 25, and will be released on CD, sunset orange vinyl, and a limited edition of 7,000 vinyl picture discs.
